Jack's Bash on Seneca Lake

GRTTC member Jack McAllister hosts this annual party/picnic at his home (78 Charles St in Dresden NY 14441). Live band, lots of picnic food and drink. Anyone interested in joining up for the drive to Jacks should meet at Stickley Furniture at Eastview Mall at 3:00PM for one hour drive to Jack's home. Jack has said he would like to have the local Triumph people join him!

Geneva Cruisin Night 2010

Friday, July 23rd: Geneva Cruisin’ Night 2010. This is a once a year event and they block off the downtown streets and fill them with vintage cars and people people people! There will also be live music and lots of food available. This isn’t an official club event, but some of us are signing up to go and we’d love to have more Triumph’s there. PALMYRAMANIA Driving Tour by Andy Paris

This Tour, starting at 6PM in the Eastview Mall - Stickley's parking lot will include some of Andy’s favorite roads in the area east and south of Rochester. He plans to include questions for the observant and dinner at Mickey Finn’s Restaurant in Victor, following the Tour. Brunch at Red Jacket Yacht Club on Cayuga Lake

Bill and Pat McNamara are hosting this drive to brunch at their yacht club, starting at Finger Lakes Gaming and Race Track on Route 96, just East of Route 332. Depart the racetrack at 9:30AM for nice roads to Cayuga Lake. Several driving options for the afternoon drive home. GRTTC SUMMER PICNIC at Pat Gaglio's

Wednesday, July 14: Picnic at Pat and Jimmy Gaglio’s. Pat shared her beautiful home and lawn with our club two years ago and has generously invited us back. Overnight to Saratoga Springs -Museum and Car Show

Meet Ken and Penny Heusler at their home in Palmyra at 9:30 AM to begin a leisurely drive to The Queensbury Hotel in Glens Falls. The hotel features a pool and restaurant and Glens Falls has numerous tourist attractions. Hotel is approximately $100. per night. After breakfast Sunday morning, we’ll drive to the Saratoga Auto Museum and Car Show in Saratoga Springs.

Tech Session at Monroe Community College

10:00AM until 4:00 PM, with coffee and donuts. Several lifts available. Bring your replacement parts and hand tools. Helper/advisors will be on hand to assist with your technical tasks, like tune-ups and brake jobs.
Originally scheduled as a GRTTC event for May 29 at BOCES, this Tech Session will be in conjunction with the Rochester Corvair Club and MG Club at the MCC Technology Center, 2485 West Henrietta Road, 14623. This is near Friendly’s Restaurant and almost across the street from Cortese Ford. The entrance is at the back of the building, which is accessed along the North side. Please be considerate of the motorcycle instruction being held on the South side.
There will be a $10.00 fee for GRTTC members to become a member of the MG Car Club for the day (insurance requirement)

Meet at 10:00 AM, Brockport Plaza, Southeast corner of Routes 19 and 31 on South side of Brockport. Easily reached from Route 531. About 45 additional minutes’ drive to Middleport. May include leisurely drive through Albion, Holley, Brockport and Spencerport on the way home.

Spring General Meeting

Tech Session: Engine Rebuild Part I: Saturday, January 16, 2010

We have two Triumph engines for rebuilding at these Tech Sessions, from a Spitfire 1500 and a TR3A. The first Session begins with Breakfast at Golden Boys Diner in the Village of Webster at 8:00AM. We’ll adjourn to Bill Rampe’s garage, 476 Whiting Road in Webster for a 9:00 start. At Session I, we’ll tear down these engines and examine and measure for wear. Several members have preregistered for this event and the class size should be kept small, so let George Haynes know of your interest soon. 595-872-6536. There is a $10.00 fee per session. In February, we’ll reassemble after required machining and purchase of new parts.

GRTTC Holiday Party

Jack’s Place on the Golf Course in Durand Eastman Park. This is most easily reached from Lakeshore Blvd, from east or west. Price is $20.00 per person, with reservations and checks to GRTTC sent to Treasurer Craig Carey at 4 Wenlock Road, Fairport, NY 14450. Final day for reservations is one week prior, January 2, 2010.
